「回顧」で発見した合板表現の可能性に、屋久島の縄文杉の麓で一晩を過ごし得たインスピレーションを組み合わせて表現した。
Seimei no Mori weaves together two sources of inspiration: the expressive potential of plywood discovered during the making of Kaiko, and the profound sense of life felt during an overnight stay at the foot of Jōmon Sugi on Yakushima Island. By layering and shaping the material, the work seeks to echo the deep time, endurance, and quiet vitality held within ancient trees— a resonance of living grain emerging through the surface of plywood.
