Building on the experience of Excavation Study, this work was created as part of my graduation project and marked my first attempt at sculpting with a chisel. By studying Triceratops skeletons through various illustrated references, I arranged the fossils to make full use of the timber. Installed within a scaffolded structure covered with construction-site sheets, the work was lit among wood shavings to evoke a fossil excavation site filled with the scent of wood.
