水母のように
like a water mother
自身の表現幅の広がりを求め、今までの『貼り合わせ』の技法と組み合わせて、無垢の丸太の丸彫に初めて挑戦した。ねじれ上昇していくその形態に、人体の動静を表す螺旋のイメージを照らし合わせた。
Seeking to expand the range of my expression, this work marks my first attempt at carving a solid log in the round, combined with my established lamination technique.Its twisting, ascending form reflects the spiral associated with the movement and stillness of the human body.
